History
The stud was founded with the purchase of the foundation mare Penardd Boremai. She was bought as a 3 year old from the late Mr Williams, Penllwynuchel, grandfather to Meirion Evans, Gwynfaes Stud & Dai Williams, Dyffryntywi Stud.

Crugybar Cariad

Crugybar Cariad was purchased as a foal by Mr Beynon, Glenmead Stud and was an exceptional show filly. Sadly she died at a very young age.

CRUGYBAR MABON MAI was sold at the Builth Sales as a foal, being the top priced colt foal back in 1990 at 1,750 guineas. Bought by the Tymor Stud, he was successful in the showring himself but more importantly has proven to be an outstanding stock getter: being the 2005 Sire Ratings winner, producing countless champions for Scott Gibbons and many other studs with the progeny of his foals now spread all over the world.
